Product Description

Alfagomma® Argus PTK / Kuriyama QX 1/4" Female Poppet Screw Coupling x 1/4" MNPT 10,000 PSI ISO 14540. Thanks to the exclusive ALFAGOMMA TOP COAT – Galvanic Coating – proprietary technology, the complete range of ARGUS Quick release couplings can boast an extraordinary wear and corrosion resistance, so as to guarantee a longer lifespan to your system

Features:
• ARGUS PTK / QX high pressure couplings can be used for connecting and disconnecting hydraulic lines
• Their robust construction and tested components make them ideally suited for high and intermittent pressure loads
• During the coupling action, valves that release and/or block the flow are automatically activated
• The PTK / QX quick release coupling, formed by coupling plug and coupling socket, is coupled by a screwing action with the hand nut of the plug component

ISO 14540:
• This International Standard specifies dimensional and performance requirements for hydraulic screw-to-connect quick-action couplings designed to be used at pressure of 72 MPa (720 bar1)) in static conditions as an interface between a hydraulic power unit and a tool. Typical applications for these couplings are related to hydraulic jacks, rams, clamping devices, hand tools, and cylinders
• This International Standard covers two types of such couplings: the "P" type, which has a poppet valve, and the "S" type, which has a spherical valve
