FLEX-DOT 1485 Series Air Brake Tube is MADE IN CANADA

Compliance:
• All series 1485 tube are designed in compliance with the revised DOT 106 standard which took effect December 24th, 2007
• Fairview’s FLEX-DOT air brake tube is dimensionally identical to the previous air brake tube described in SAE J844 Type A and Type B, and is compatible with the same fittings. Both compression and push-to-connect fittings can be used with FLEX-DOT tube in all applications other than truck to trailer connections, in which push-to-connect fittings are not suitable

Materials:
• Both the core tube and jacket are comprised of a custom formulated elastomer, offering exceptional heat aging, oil resistance, and low temperature flexibility, when compared to previous nylon materials
• With its improved flexibility at all temperatures, the FLEX-DOT tube is easier to install in tight quarters
• The special compound was custom formulated for this application and offers exceptional flexibility even at very low temperatures. Unlike traditional all-nylon tube, the FLEX-DOT elastomer hose can still be flexed at -65C (-85F)
